OBSERVATIONS
The enigmatic shadow and shape are provocative food for the imagination with echoes of "2001: A Space Odyssey". Former Apollo astronaut Buzz Aldrin also commented on its uniqueness. However sharper images are needed for more detailed analysis.
POTENTIAL FOR AN ARTIFICIAL STRUCTURE
A triangular shaped column standing nearly 80 metres tall. Corroborative evidence may be present in the form of rectilinear markings covering most of the moon's surface which may indicate an artificial structure existing beneath the surface dust. Known cavities inside the moon may indicate an artificial body with compartments.
COMMON EXPLANATION
A large rock ejected from Mars during ancient volcanic activity.
